English speaking Logistics Supervisor

A brand new opportunity in the eLogistics industry has occurred for a fluent English speaker with preferred fluency in Dutch to join our client as a Logistics Supervisor. You will be working in the busy Schiphol airport district where you will manage team leaders and other staff to make sure that inbound and outbound products are flowing smoothly, both in the office and on the warehouse floor. This is a fixed-term 7 months contract with a potential for an extension to a permanent contract afterwards. The warehouse is open 24/7, so you would need to have the flexibility to work in three shifts incl. weekends e.g. 08:00-16:30 / 16:00-00:30 / 00:00-08:30 for 1/3 of the time during day (weekly rotation).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing team leaders and other staff in the office and warehouse
• Planning work schedules and directing team leaders to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse regarding inbound and outbound products
• Providing motivation and guidance to team leaders on operational solutions

About you:

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, taking full ownership of the role and will have an excellent ability to communicate with people. You have a hands-on mentality and would like to contribute your ideas to the company’s success! You have an eye for detail and are data-driven so that you can support on improving, optimising and innovating!

Profile:

• Required to be fluent in English (C1-level or higher) and preferably Dutch (not required) written and spoken
• Required to have at least 3 years of logistics experience
• Experience in leading a team
