If you are passionate about language learning and like to teach people new languages then look no further, as this could be your next role. A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Japanese speaking Content Writer to help develop Japanese language course content. You will be joining a start-up company which is already growing fast and is therefore looking to expand their content writing team. The organisation is based in London, but the role can be performed remotely within the UK. This role will last for 4-6 weeks, starting in May.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing exercises and lessons for the Japanese course
  • Providing translations and explanations of words and concepts
  • Creating content covering various categories of language learning (grammar, vocabulary, listening skills, etc.)
  • Working closely with the marketing and product divisions by improving content writing and developing new ways of teaching

About you:

As a Japanese speaking Content Writer, strong writing skills and a great eye for detail are desirable. The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with superb problem-solving skills and great communication skills, as you will be dealing with a wide range of clients and members of the company. Additionally, you will be passionate about teaching Japanese and the Japanese culture. This is a thrilling opportunity for an experienced Japanese speaking Content Writer to join an outgoing, friendly, creative team where you will have the chance to make a real impact.

Profile:

  • Required to be fluent in Japanese to a native level
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience in teaching, tutoring or language learning
  • Experience in content writing, translation or copywriting
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Creative mindset
  • Strong IT skills and experience with the Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
  • Able to work well in a team as well as independently
