Manager of Property Accounting and Operations

Our client is a real estate investment trust (REIT) investing in commercial properties and partnering with the world’s leading companies. Due to expansion into Europe, they’re looking for a Manager of Property Accounting and Operations at their European headquarters in Amsterdam.

Your responsibility will include:

• Establish the optimal operating model for accounts receivable and service charge in Continental Europe and the UK
• Provide leadership to third party property managers to ensure adherence to company policies and accurate and timely execution of the operating procedures
• Increase efficiency of the processes under control and work closely with the US and European teams and be able to smoothly shift between strategic and detail level of the processes
• Build and manage a team that scales with the business growth

About you:

This role is suitable for an experienced financial professional who is equipped to lead the financial operations of the European expansion that is currently still in start-up mode. A successful candidate is highly entrepreneurial with a hands-on mentality and experience to improve efficiency and processes. You will be joining a small team of financial and legal professionals with the opportunity to expand the team further.

Profile:

• Fluent in English (C1-level or higher), both written and spoken. Fluency in French, German, Italian is an advantage!
• 10 years of experience in finance operations preferably in real estate and multiple years of experience leading a team
• Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable and service change / e-invoicing in Europe
• Commercial real estate property management experience
