Spanish speaking Associate

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded law firm seeking a talented Bilingual Associate – Private Client to join its growing team in South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Spanish-speaking Private Client Associate to work on a varied caseload, including domestic and international matters, while developing specialist expertise in cross-border work.

This role would suit a Bilingual Associate with at least 2 years’ PQE who is looking to accelerate their career within a supportive and ambitious Private Client team. Fluent Spanish is essential, and experience dealing with cross-border Private Client matters would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a broad Private Client caseload, including wills, probate, estate administration, tax, trusts and cross-border matters.
• Advise English and Spanish speaking clients on a range of Private Client issues, delivering exceptional client service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, accountants, wealth managers and other referrers.
• Play an active role in business development, networking, marketing initiatives and article writing.
• Supervise and support junior team members while contributing to the continued growth of the Private Client practice.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified lawyer in both England & Wales and Spain.
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills, with the ability to advise and communicate confidently in Spanish.
• At least 2 years’ PQE within Private Client law, although candidates at different levels will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of Private Client matters, with experience in trusts, tax, mental capacity or international work being beneficial.
• Ambitious, commercially minded and keen to develop a long-term career as a Bilingual Associate within a leading Private Client team.
• STEP, ATT, CTA or a willingness to work towards professional qualifications would be advantageous.
