We are recruiting for a Sales Support Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Chessington. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is designed for someone who enjoys taking operational responsibility. Rather than just following set processes, you will be expected to make day-to-day decisions that ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full sales cycle, from producing professional quotes and tenders to processing orders and invoicing.
  • Manage inventory and stock control, liaising with suppliers and haulage firms to coordinate imports and exports.
  • Act as the central coordination point for the Managing Director, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the sales team with digital demonstrations and training sessions within the company’s webinar studio.
  • Analyse ordering patterns and sales data via Excel to provide insights on market trends and profit margins.
  • Maintain the client and equipment database while assisting with the organisation of company functions and exhibitions.

We are looking for someone methodical and inquisitive. While the workflow can vary, we need a coordinator who can use the quieter periods to focus on data, stock accuracy, and process improvements, ensuring everything is perfectly in place for when the pace picks up.

Requirements

  • A resourceful, inquisitive mindset with the confidence to make day-to-day decisions on operational issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a professional telephone manner for building relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, including the ability to handle basic accounting and data reporting tasks.
  • Highly organised and methodical, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a natural aptitude for learning ERP systems (SAP training provided).
  • A collaborative team player who is proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to take on diverse ad-hoc projects.
  • Office-Based: This is a full-time, 5-day-a-week position based at the company’s Chessington site.
